FOSTER APPLICATION
After reading 'Foster Information - Cats & Kittens' , 'Foster Information - Dogs & Puppies' and 'Caring for Kittens' if you would like to become a Foster Carer for Little Legs Dog & Cat Rescue Qld Inc, please complete the form below.
Once submitted, a Little Legs Foster Coordinator will contact you via email.
Most cats, dogs and pocket pets will be coming either directly from the Pound or their owner and in some cases may not have been vaccinated and health checked beforehand. It is very important that your own pets are up to date with their vaccinations, to keep them protected against possible diseases such as FIV.
As a foster carer you will be required to keep in regular contact with Little Legs Dog & Cat Rescue Qld Inc, either via phone, text or email. We require clear photos and detailed information on the needs and personality of any cat, dog or pocket pet is in your care, for their adoption profiles. The more information you provide the better, as we want to ensure a 100% perfect match for their forever home. You may also be required to transport the foster cat/dog/rodent/guinea pig to and from a Little Legs approved vet for vetwork.
We hope your experience fostering with Little Legs Dog & Cat Rescue Qld Inc is an enjoyable one and look forward to saving many little lives with your help!
**Please note: we have closed applications for small dog foster carers due to an abundance of carers and not many small dogs requiring care at this point in time. Please keep an eye out in the future for applications to reopen for Small Dog Carers.
